Wojciech Kobylinski, P. Eng.

Wojciech Kobylinski is a Consulting Engineer at D.E.M. Allen & Associates Ltd. and has been with the firm for over 10 years.

Wojciech graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. During his university days, he worked as a Field Service Technician for Manitoba Telecom Services in Winnipeg and completed a 16 month internship working as a RF Designer for Celestica in Toronto.

Wojciech joined D.E.M. Allen & Associates Ltd. in the Fall of 2003 as an Engineer-in-Training and in 2008 became a Professional Engineer in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists in the Province of Manitoba where he continues to be a member in good standing.

His activities and responsibilities include:

  • Design and specification of AM and FM broadcasting facilities including frequency selection, interference analysis and coverage prediction
  • AM Preliminary Proof of Performance, Final Proof of Performance and Supplementary Proof of Performance
  • Preparation of Technical Submissions to Industry Canada supporting applications for AM, FM, Terrestrial S-DARS and Microwave Facilities
  • Field strength measurements of AM and FM signal
  • Electromagnetic field measurements and calculations across a broad range of frequencies and Safety Code 6 compliance testing
  • Studies and reports on the impact of wind turbines on radiocommunication systems
  • Method of Moments computer modelling specific to AM
  • Design of point-to-point radiocommunication systems
